Lake views in Lovere, with a lift
Lovere Modern Apartment is a renovated 80 m² first-floor flat in the old town of Lovere, on the Bergamo shore of the upper Lake Iseo. It's our only home on this part of the lake, and Lovere is one of Italy's most beautiful villages. A bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed, a living room with a sofa bed: up to six guests. The terrace and balcony overlook the lake, and the building has a lift — rare in the old town.
In plain terms: there's no parking of its own (there are public car parks in the centre) and one bathroom for a home that sleeps six. In exchange there's a washing machine and a tumble dryer, handy for longer stays and days in the mountains.

Air conditioning and heating, a washing machine and tumble dryer, iron and board, free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, wooden floors and a desk. Lovere sits at the northern tip of Lake Iseo, on the upper lake: an old town with a scenic lakefront, a marina and a ferry pier for Monte Isola. Worth naming is the Accademia Tadini gallery, the village's main museum, right on the water. Restaurants, bars, gelaterias and shops are a few minutes' walk away.
It's also a handy base for Valle Camonica and the UNESCO rock-carving sites, reachable by car or public transport. For days by the water, there are the beaches of Lake Iseo and Franciacorta to the south.
